Union Sour

A unique combination of yeast and lactobacillus fermentation is carried out entirely in oak barrels (a “Union set”) yielding a beer that is both acidic and highly attenuated, while retaining a roundness not found in other similar sour ales. Low in alcohol and refreshingly tart, there is a harmony between yeast and lactic acid here that allows for incredible pairings with all manner of cuisine or to be enjoyed on its own.
